PKN STAN Conducts BUMDes Bersama Financial Reporting Training in Pamekasan
Approximately 30 participants attended the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on BUMDes Bersama Financial Reporting organized by the State Polytechnic of Finance and Taxation (PKN STAN) at the Pamekasan District Public Works and Housing Office meeting room on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. This event was part of PKN STAN's implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, specifically in the field of community service, with the aim of accelerating financial accountability of BUMDes Bersama in Pamekasan Regency.
Participants of the Bimtek came from 11 BUMDes Bersama LKDs that are members of the "Arek Lancor" Pamekasan Regency BUMDESMA Communication Forum. Each BUMDes sent three of its managers.
The three-day event, from September 24 to 26, 2024, was opened by the Head of the Pamekasan Regency Community Empowerment and Village Agency (DPMD), Imam Rifadi. In his speech, he expressed full support for the event and emphasized the importance of increasing the capacity of BUMDes Bersama managers in preparing financial reports according to applicable accounting standards.
The training materials were delivered by two PKN STAN lecturers, Siswanto, S.E., Ak., M.Ak., C.A. and Marsono S.E., S.S.T., M.Acc., who guided participants in the practice of preparing financial statements using an application developed by PKN STAN. This application is designed to facilitate BUMDes Bersama managers in journalizing transactions and preparing financial statements automatically and accurately. In addition, three PKN STAN students, namely Erika Ayu Andini, Rona Alifah, and Berlian Cecilia Putri, assisted in providing assistance to the participants.
Over the three days of training, participants enthusiastically learned the basics of accounting and practiced recording transactions. On the third day, the participants had successfully understood the journalizing process and started using the application to prepare financial statements according to applicable accounting standards.
Although the offline training has been completed, participants can still consult and receive guidance online. PKN STAN is committed to supporting the sustainability of this activity to improve the quality of financial accountability of BUMDes Bersama in Pamekasan Regency.
